where do i start?? CAPD has been one big disaster 4 me   i have many stories within my 28 yrs of life. i am here 4 major support & ideas & treatments. i dunno f my CAPD is worse as i get older or if im imagining things...my so called primary care physician is giving me the run around & NOT the help i am seeking. i kno i have CAPD as i was diagnosed as a teen in junior high finally. & come 2 find out, my mother as well has it, therefore i get it from her. imagine one CAPD parent talking to a CAPD child. OMG the results are insanity & cruelty!!  LOL

my big sis has a hearing loss & i was told i possibly share her impairment.

nope, finally one day in the 9th grade, my english teacher sat down w my ma and narrowed out sum specific behavior on my end that eventually led me in the right direction. now as an adult & not on good terms w my parents, i do not possess any type of documentation on my condition nor have i ever.

it is excruciating difficult & time consuming tryin 2 get the help i need now when i am not "diagnosed" w anything on paper. it is one big mess & i am here 4 guidance plz & thank u.

question number 1 on my list: who does the diagnosis? neurologist or audiologist or both or what is the deal? Can someone plz break it down 4 me in lamens terms as my doctor makes me do my own research & work.
