Re: FM Systems in the Classroom

Our son has been given a speaker FM system in his classroom. Last week it broke down in the middle of the week and the school never even said anything. I only found out because I volunteered on Friday. I would like to buy an FM system for home, but I am clueless on how to pick one out. I figure if we have one at home, when the school's breaks down we will have a backup. It's interesting because our son was doing great, and when the FM system broke he suddenly started having attention problems. So it really, really helps him.

Does anybody know where to find information on choosing an FM system?

Thanks!
Bonnie

Re: FM Systems in the Classroom

You might want to ask your audiologist for suggestions, or contact the Superintendent of Special Education of your school system, they should be able to get you in touch with whoever they get theirs from.

*edit*  Didn't they have a backup system?  You'd think a school district would have more than one, knowing those things will break down at times.
